This is a fun set to build. In the passed when the pullback-sets were introduced it was always in pairs. From two there was always a building instruction for a set from the 2 combined. This one is not, maybe because it is a brand licensed set. For challenges first try to build as much from the images on the box. However this set has some inventive ways of building. So what you also can do is skip every other building step to make it interesting. Mostly because this set doesn't have to much really complex technic features. Like all pullback sets it is just a nice way to get acquainted with Lego Technic. Despite all of it this model manages to get a good bodywork and the livery finishes is off pretty neatly.

Pullback motor

The pullback motor is a strong one and can give some speed to this car. Especially on a wooden floor. On carpet it does it, but a way shorter running distance. The torque is divided over 2 small and 2 bigger gears. On the axle a 13 tooth,than a 26 tooth gear a 12 gear one and the a bigger drum shaped gear of around 36 tooth.(I can't find a good picture)with the spring in it. Which brings it to a ratio of 2:3.

Livery

 

Due to the livery and the use of creative pieces the bodywork stands out pretty good. Plus it gives this extra challenge because the livery is important you need to spend some serious time and precision to get the stickers applied straight otherwise it will look like a mess.
